Bible Stories

Every story keeps the KJV verse anchor intact. Then it is retold plainly.

"We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done."

Psalm 78:4 · KJV

Stories in the library

  • Creation — how everything began

    Genesis 1 · Ages 6-10

Before there was anything, God spoke. He made light. He made the sky. He made the sea and the land. He made every kind of plant and every kind of animal. And on the seventh day, he rested.

  • Noah's Ark — the rainbow promise

    Genesis 6-9 · Ages 6-10

Noah built a great big boat because God asked him to. Two of every kind of animal came aboard. The rain came for forty days. When the water dried up, God set a rainbow in the sky as a promise.

More stories will be added as the household writes them — each one carefully, one at a time.

How every story is written

Every Bible story on this page follows the same shape:

  • A KJV verse anchor — the actual Bible verse, quoted exactly.
  • A plain retelling — the story in words a six- to ten-year-old can follow.
  • One thing we learn — a single lesson, said once. No lectures.
  • A memory verse — short, from the KJV, worth learning by heart.
  • A prayer — one or two sentences, appropriate for children.

Nothing is added that is not in the Bible. Nothing is left out that a child needs to know.
